Pelicans

Every summer, pelican are nesting on the Slave river and large groups come to the rapids of the drowned to fish. It is an amazing show and one more reason to visit Fort Smith.

Snakes pit

Wood Buffalo National Park protect some large hibernacula of snakes. Every spring, during few days, they all come together for reproduction. A beautiful and powerful moment that clearly indicate the beginning of the spring.
